Garage
A garage is a building or part of a building used to park vehicles and store tools and equipment. A residential garage can be attached to the house, built into it, or stand as a separate structure.
Garages are sized by how many cars they hold: one-car, two-car or three-car. They usually have a concrete floor, a large overhead door and less insulation and finish than the house.
Some owners convert a garage into living space, which generally requires permits and changes to heat, insulation and flooring.
