PlanSwift Pricing: What Essential and Core Cost Per Year

PlanSwift pricing in 2026 is $2,000 per year for the Essential plan and $3,000 per year for Core, each for one seat and billed annually. PlanSwift includes takeoff and estimating in both plans, and its 14-day trial of Core needs no credit card. It runs on Windows only, and its official pricing page no longer lists a one-time license.

Is there a one-time PlanSwift license?

Not on PlanSwift's own pricing page. Older one-time prices still turn up on software review sites, but the current official options are the two annual plans. If you see a one-time price quoted somewhere, confirm it with ConstructConnect before you budget on it.

Essential or Core: which PlanSwift plan?

Both plans do manual takeoff and estimating with trade assemblies. The extra $1,000 for Core buys Takeoff BOOST, the automated first pass that finds areas, lengths, and counts for you to check. Estimators who run a high volume of similar plans get the most out of it. Takeoff BOOST can also be added to Essential through an account manager, at a price PlanSwift does not list.

Does PlanSwift work on Mac?

No. PlanSwift cannot be installed directly on a Mac. ConstructConnect's system requirements point Mac users to Boot Camp or a virtual machine such as Parallels, with Windows 11 Pro or Enterprise as the recommended system. Boot Camp is not available on Apple silicon Macs, which leaves a virtual machine as the only route on newer machines.

When a cheaper tool is enough

PlanSwift is a full estimating program. If what you need from it is the measurements (wall and trim lengths, room areas, and wall areas off PDF plans), a $2,000 seat is a lot to pay. MeasureFloorPlan runs in the browser on Mac or PC and exports every measurement to CSV for your estimate spreadsheet. It costs $9 per plan, $15 for a 24-hour Day Pass, or $29 per month for unlimited plans, with no annual contract. It has no assemblies or bid reports, so if you build complete estimates inside your takeoff tool, PlanSwift or a similar suite is the better fit.

PlanSwift costs $2,000 per year for Essential and $3,000 per year for Core, each for one seat, billed annually. Additional seats are discounted at a rate PlanSwift does not publish.

Does PlanSwift have a free trial?

Yes. PlanSwift offers a 14-day free trial of the full Core plan, including the AI tools, with no credit card required.
